Take my 5 year old daughter Trinity to Toys R Us to pick up UNO and take a look at bike with training wheels.
She's a very good girl. Always stays close and where I can see her. It wouldn't be new if someone came up and remarked on how well mannered she is. So we are there along with several other people and their children. I was looking at the prices (outragous I might add) and she was mingling with the children behind me. I hear her talking to some kid telling him that she already has this scooter and that he's sitting on it backwards and that he should turn around before he gets hurt (she's very caring) then she says, very matter-of-factly
"If your not going to listen maybe you should stay with your mommy"
I said "Trin!"
"But daddy..."
"Trin, we don't talk to people like that"
"But daddy, even if their stupid?"
I looked at the kid sitting on the toy backwards and he really did seem pretty dumb.
But while she's standing their he hits the triggerr and zooms off backwards into another rack 4 feet away or so and starts crying. My daughter simply looks at me, shrugs and says"Some people just like to learn the hard way"
That's true Trin. Damn true.
