Why hasn't natural selection worked on dumb people?

Had an "upgrade" to our sales force handhelds (HH) which once again has created nightmares for me as I get to support 70+ at our sales center here in town.

Emailed our "HH Specialist" with an recurring issue, stating the problem, my recovery attempts and stated that this particular problem was getting really old (since it has kept me at work past 5 for 8 of the last 9 work days, which doesn't make me happy) and asked what the ETA for a fix was.

In his reply he gives me a, please follow these steps and get back to me. I hit reply, scroll down to my original text, change the color to red, scroll back up and type "See the text in red below." to point out that his advice was already tried.

His reply, "Try it again." My reply, "How bout you drive up here and try it again. I already got the HH running, just wanted to know when a patch was coming."

His reply, "Patch for what?" My reply "Nevermind, I will wait for you to get fired and then ask the new guy."

He sends this long email about how he is insulted. My reply "Insulted for what?"

Waiting on the call from the boss. Sure it will be fun! Anyway back to the question at hand, if natural selection works why the hell is this guy still breathing?

That's hilarious, but it sucks for you to have to deal with people like that. I feel for you, man. I'm pretty sure to answer your question, natural selection stopped working when our society as a whole stopped holding people accountable for their actions and made everyone victims.
